Get Tie-Dyed for Pride
Join us Sunday afternoon in Marquette Park on Mackinac Island to ring in the start of Pride Month by creating your very own uniquely designed Straits Pride tie-dyed tee!
Spoken Word Showcase
Join us for an evening of dramatic readings, monologues, poetry, and more on LGBTQ+ topics by local creatives. This event will feature inspirational, educational, and entertaining material spanning a range of genres centered around the theme of queer experience. Free and open to the public.
Drag Queen Bingo!
Come join us for a hysterical evening of bingo fun featuring a live drag performance! This is a family friendly event open to everyone. Bingo is free to play but donations recommended.
Drag Brunch
Join us for a lilac-themed drag brunch on Mackinac Island! Enjoy mimosas and a full meal while being entertained by world-class drag performers from the Midwest. Tickets will be on sale in March.
Drag Queen Story Time
Kids from one to ninety-two will enjoy this fun and family friendly story time with one of our drag performers from Drag Brunch earlier in the day. This family-friendly event is free and open to all.
Lilac Festival Grand Parade
Representatives from Straits Pride will appear in the annual Lilac Festival Grand Parade. If you would like to walk with the group in the parade, please contact us!
Pride Ride
Pride Ride 2024 will take place immediately following the Lilac Festival Grand Parade (approx. 5:30pm). Meet the group near the end of the parade around Windermere Point and ride around the island with stops at Devil’s Kitchen and British Landing.
Saint Ignace Pride Festival
Join us for the fourth annual Saint Ignace Pride festival! We will start off the morning with relaxing group activities giving way to a fun party & cookout atmosphere for the afternoon.
